Job summary

Blue Sky Innovators, Inc. seeks a Senior Subject Matter Expert (USAF) to join our team in Arlington, VA. The SME will help develop, coordinate, and advise on policies related to air, space, and cyberspace power for senior USAF leadership.

The role involves operational planning, analysis, and providing assessments to ensure planning inputs are sound, feasible, and resource-informed according to relevant policies. Experience with wargaming and presenting to senior officials is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent service academy.
• Ten years of combined federal experience with five years at MAJCOM, HAF or JS/CCMD J2/3/5/8.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software such as Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Advise on policy implementation related to air, space, and cyberspace power.
• Participate in operational planning and analysis to optimize USAF capabilities.
• Prepare briefings and written material for senior leaders on national security matters.
