Xtreme Solutions, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to support a federal headquarters program. The SME will be a senior expert in a designated technical area, drive efficiencies, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

The role involves working with government stakeholders, producing complex technical documentation, and mentoring staff. On-site presence is required as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in the relevant area.
• Master's degree in a related field, or 12 years of equivalent experience in place of the degree.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated experience writing complex technical documentation as the primary author.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including briefing senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site when required.

Responsabilités

• Help put efficiencies in place and support mission operations in the area of expertise.
• Identify, analyze and solve complex problems that affect program performance.
• Ensure organizational compliance with contract requirements, agency policy and applicable federal standards.
• Produce and review substantive, complex technical documentation, including SOPs, policies, process guides and reports.
• Advise program leadership and government stakeholders on best practices and recommend improvements.
• Brief findings and recommendations to senior leaders, in writing and in person.
• Mentor program staff and share expertise across the team.
