The Vet Service, a AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Bellmore, NY, seeks a confident Medical Lead Veterinarian to oversee clinical excellence, guide associate veterinarians and elevate patient care. This senior role blends leadership with a hands-on clinical workload across dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, cardiology, internal medicine and surgery.

The ideal candidate holds a DVM, NY license, at least two years of hands-on experience, and demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and NY veterinary license in good standing.
• At least two years of hands-on clinical experience.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with computer applications.
• Interest in operational planning and veterinary performance management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical excellence and standard of care across services.
