The Vet Service is seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a high-performing team while remaining actively involved in clinical care. This full-time position is ideal for a confident clinician with substantial experience who enjoys mentoring doctors, overseeing medical standards and helping shape the operational direction of a busy practice.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary qualification with active District of Columbia licensure or eligibility.
• DEA registration appropriate to the position.
• Five or more years of veterinary experience.
• Previous experience managing, mentoring or developing veterinary professionals.
• Strong communication, leadership and clinical decision-making capabilities.
