Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Sleep Technologist for the Sleep Laboratory in College Station, TX. This part-time night shift role (12-hour shifts) supports patient care and lab operations from 7AM–7PM per the posting, working within a large Texas not-for-profit health system.

The position involves performing polysomnographic studies, scoring and reporting, and coordinating with physicians and families. BLS and POLYTECH certifications are referenced as prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification.
• 3 years of experience in polysomnography or related field.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Polysomnography Tech (POLYTECH) certifications listed in the credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting, including nasal continuous positive airway pressure titrations.
• Score studies and formulate reports for physician interpretation.
• Communicate results to patients, physicians and family members.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; troubleshoot issues and coordinate repairs.
• Orient and train new Sleep Lab staff.
• Lead quality improvement and policy updates within the department.
