Job summary

Scientific Search is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to lead skincare and cosmetic formulation from concept to commercialization. Onsite in Johnson City, TN, you will guide emulsion and sunscreen innovations and mentor junior scientists across R&D and Quality teams.

You will design robust experiments, evaluate new ingredients, regulatory changes, and transfer processes to manufacturing, ensuring high-performing products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field.
• Advanced emulsion and surfactant chemistry knowledge.
• Experience with cosmetic formulation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead skincare, cosmetic, OTC, and personal care formulation development.
• Drive emulsion, surfactant, and sunscreen formulation innovation.
• Design experiments and translate findings into optimized formulations.
