Job summary

The City of Fayetteville, North Carolina, is seeking a Senior Skilled Trades Technician to lead and participate in complex maintenance and repair work across city buildings, facilities, park equipment, and fixtures. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise staff in skilled carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related repairs.
Operate and maintain equipment and tools for city facilities and park infrastructure.
Estimate materials and time; requisition materials as needed.
Perform advanced repair work on city facilities, systems, and fixtures.
Install electrical circuits for city equipment and lighting and maintain plumbing systems.
Assist in design and setup of electrical layouts for events.
