S&R Corporation in Lowell, MA is seeking a Senior Site Work Estimator to lead the estimating process for site development, earthwork, and utilities on commercial, industrial, municipal, and educational projects.

This role emphasizes bid strategy, quantity takeoffs, subcontractor procurement, and value engineering, with occasional site visits across New England. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with developers, general contractors, and engineers to deliver complete, competitive bids.

Formación

• 7-10+ years of estimating experience in site development, site work, earthwork, utility construction, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff platforms.
• Strong knowledge of grading, storm drainage, utilities, asphalt paving, and erosion control.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the preparation of complete and competitive site work estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission.
• Review plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and contract documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for site clearing, earthwork, underground utilities, drainage, and paving.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Develop project-specific scopes of work and bid packages.
• Mentor junior estimating staff and support best practices.
