Job summary

SAIC seeks a highly experienced Site Representative Systems Engineer to support Horizon 2 on a government program in Tucson, AZ. You will lead systems engineering, manufacturing, and production readiness activities for customer mission systems.

Responsibilities include participating in reviews, monitoring corrective actions, verifying hardware and production readiness, and coordinating with the home program office to ensure timely execution and seamless integration into production."

Qualifications

• Technical requirements development, systems engineering, and manufacturing for terrestrial/space systems.
• Requirements verification and validation processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• In-scope security background investigation (T5/SSBI) and SCI eligibility.
• Willingness to be nominated for access to SAPs and to consent to a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developer reviews and boards, maintaining situational awareness and reporting updates to the home office.
• Monitor progress on corrective actions, change items, obsolescence issues, and production risk drivers.
• Follow hardware pedigrees and participate in first article inspections and audits.
• Supervise lab/manufacturing activities, build schedules, progress, and issues impacting the timetable.
• Benchmark best practices against developers’ processes and assess transition to production readiness.
