Job summary

TGS International Group, a global engineering and construction partner, seeks a Site Superintendent in Indianapolis, IN. You will lead on-site activities, supervise subcontractors, enforce safety standards and represent the company on site to ensure safety, schedule and budget adherence.

You will coordinate field operations, manage trades, maintain schedules, and drive quality control while facilitating communications with clients and authorities. Occasional relocation or travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of field experience in commercial/industrial construction.
• Proven track record supervising complex projects from start to finish.
• OSHA knowledge and safety regulations; ability to enforce on site.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and contracts.
• Experience with construction management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations and subcontractor coordination.
• Lead site meetings and set objectives for trades and personnel.
• Maintain project schedule and anticipate delays.
• Promote safety culture and enforce requirements; conduct walks/inspections.
• Document incidents and ensure prompt resolution; maintain QA/QC.
• Oversee quality, inspections and testing with authorities/clients.
• Develop short-term look-ahead schedules aligned to milestones.
• Manage subcontractor performance against scope and schedule.
• Maintain daily site reports and records; track manpower and progress.
• Assist with change orders, field directives and punch lists.
