Job summary

CleanSpark, a Nasdaq-listed data center developer, is seeking a Manager of Site Selection & Land Acquisition. You will own the intake and qualification of inbound site, land, and power opportunities and guide feasibility research from brokers, landowners, utilities, and economic developers.

You will build and manage the opportunity pipeline, mentor two Development Associates, and create repeatable qualification playbooks to scale origination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• Five to eight+ years in land acquisition, site selection, CRE, energy origination, or data center/industrial development.
• Proven ability to qualify, structure, and advance land and power transactions.
• Knowledge of utility service, interconnection, zoning/entitlement, title/ownership concepts.
• Experience building and managing deal pipelines and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary intake point for inbound site, land, and power opportunities and qualify against criteria.
• Direct land, power, utility, and ownership feasibility research including title, zoning, and interconnection.
• Build and manage the opportunity pipeline; report pipeline health and megawatts under evaluation.
• Develop raw leads from zero to 100 and structure diligence-ready deals.
• Present qualified opportunities to leadership for negotiation; support LOIs and purchase agreements.
• Manage and mentor two Development Associates and develop repeatable qualification playbooks.
• Cultivate relationships with brokers, landowners, developers, utilities, and economic development orgs.
• Partner with Eng, Development, Construction, Finance, and Legal to transition opportunities into development.
