Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC seeks a Site Scheduling Senior Specialist to manage the daily site scheduling for Vertex Cell and Genetic Therapies (VCGT) and maintain an aligned manufacturing schedule in a hybrid work setting in Boston, MA. You will coordinate across schedulers and stakeholders to provide visibility to schedule changes, priorities, and dependencies that may impact execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 6 years of related experience.
• Experience in site planning, production scheduling, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, planning tools and master data processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site manufacturing schedule and coordinate across schedulers to ensure a single aligned plan.
• Identify schedule conflicts and dependencies; drive alignment on changes.
• Provide visibility to milestones, assumptions and changes affecting execution.
• Coordinate day-to-day scheduling communications and issue tracking.
• Oversee RTMS-related scheduling processes and data quality.
