Job summary

Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. in the Southeast Texas & Southwest Louisiana area is seeking a Lead Site Safety Specialist.

This role provides project-specific safety support, monitors compliance with company, state, and federal standards, and advises project management to foster a safety-first culture. The successful candidate will lead safety inspections, manage incident case work, conduct new employee orientation, and train field teams on safe practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership to guide field teams.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety ethics.
• Ability to inspect and improve safety practices on site.
• Experience in incident investigation and case management.
• Ability to conduct orientations for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead Site Safety Specialists provide project-specific safety support and monitor compliance with standards.
• Advise project management to foster a positive health and safety culture.
• Instruct and educate field employees to maintain safe work practices.
• Conduct periodic on-site safety inspections and evaluate work methods.
• Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and site-specific orientation.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication of safety findings with site management.
• Manage or supervise a small team of field safety specialists on projects.
