Job summary

Proximiti Safety Group is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager to support on-site operations and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements on large-scale construction projects. You will provide field safety supervision, conduct audits and toolbox talks, and lead incident investigations while promoting a proactive safety culture across all project levels.

OSHA training and BCSP/OSHA certifications are highly valued for this role in the Virginia construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of safety management experience in construction.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500 and BCSP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction regulations.
• Experience conducting site safety audits and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and leadership to influence safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide field safety supervision on site.
• Enforce EHS practices and project safety requirements.
• Conduct site safety audits, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Deliver safety orientation and training for site personnel.
• Perform job hazard analyses and corrective action plans.
• Oversee PPE use and compliance with safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project leadership to drive a proactive safety culture.
