Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a seasoned Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across large utility-scale EPC projects. You will promote safety culture, develop site plans, supervise safety staff, and coordinate with project teams to ensure regulatory compliance and incident prevention.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in construction safety management and 10+ years of experience in safety leadership for major industrial or civil projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction safety management or related.
• 10+ years of experience in construction safety management.
• Experience in large commercial/multi-disciplinary/industrial projects.
• Experience in investigating, documenting, and developing corrective actions for accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and enforcing project environmental protection plans.
• External/Internal proven safety auditing experience and knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote company safety culture and policies on projects and interact with clients, subcontractors, local officials, and others.
• Implement and manage solar energy project safety program for construction activities.
• Work with Safety Director, Project Manager, and Construction Manager to address field safety needs.
• Supervise one or more safety specialists.
• Audit, inspect, and surveil the project safety program.
• Track corrective actions and ensure completion per safety policies.
• Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near misses per policy.
• Champion ALLSAFE safety program and Signal Energy core principles.
• Assist in developing and maintaining site-specific safety plans and emergency actions.
• Communicate and implement safety policies for all personnel on site.
• Ensure personnel have requisite safety training.
