Job summary
SS&C Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / L3 Support Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and own the operational health of our FedRAMP High cloud platform.
You will proactively resolve incidents and drive improvements with automation and strong collaboration with software engineers. You will monitor production services, manage on-call incidents, develop runbooks and dashboards, and work toward higher reliability, security, and observability in a regulated,
Qualifications
- 3–6 years in Site Reliability Engineering or senior production support.
- Experience with cloud-based production systems and Linux networking.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP High or DoD environments is a plus.
- Strong debugging, incident management, and on-call experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the health, availability, performance, and security of production services.
- Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Develop runbooks, dashboards, alerts, and service-level indicators.
- Collaborate with software teams to improve platform reliability and security.
