Job summary

Scientific Games seeks a Senior Databricks Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize production data products on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform running on AWS, with emphasis on reliability, observability, performance, and cost efficiency.

You will lead initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Platform and Governance teams to improve diagnostics, automate recovery, and drive scalable data solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred.
• 6+ years of related experience, including 3+ years hands-on Databricks experience developing and supporting production data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize production data products on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform on AWS.
• Develop reusable observability patterns and recovery procedures for reliability and cost efficiency.
• Lead technical reviews and mentor engineers on Databricks development, observability, and performance optimization.
