Job summary

NOCD, a leading telehealth provider for OCD treatment, seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to scale our digital health platform in Chicago. This hybrid role blends software engineering, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, reliability, and security to create secure, scalable, observable systems.

You will own architecture decisions, shape engineering standards, manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform, and drive incident response while mentoring engineers across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in SRE or cloud infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/SE or equivalent.
• Strong AWS and cloud architecture experience.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC.
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring.
• Experience with incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to own technical initiatives and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production systems and services.
• Develop and operate AWS-based infrastructure.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Lead incident response and postmortems.
• Mentor engineers and influence engineering culture.
