Job summary

JDENGINEERING is seeking a Senior Software Engineer-Site Reliability for the Digital Fullfilment team in Austin, TX (hybrid). You will deliver complex code solutions, support build and deployment pipelines, and diagnose production issues.

You will contribute to system design, security, scalability, performance and provide end-to-end support. The role requires 5+ years in distributed systems, strong SRE experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI pipelines, plus expertise with PostgreSQL,

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and troubleshooting distributed systems.
• 3+ years SRE experience with GKE, Kubernetes, or AWS.
• 2+ years Java (Spring) programming.
• 3+ years Terraform for cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years CI pipelines with GitLab or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and REST/GraphQL.
• Proficient with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains tooling for environment monitoring and task automation.
• Engages in full lifecycle of services: inception, design, deployment, operation, refinement.
• Analyzes and optimizes configurations for software, DB connections, and drivers.
• Collaborates with development teams on service architectures, capacity, and releases.
• Monitors SLOs/SLAs; identifies and resolves gaps.
• Acts as SME for cross-functional engineering teams and troubleshoots system issues.
