Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain software that powers our client-facing platforms.

You will work with onshore and offshore teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and secure operations across cloud environments and on-prem components. The role requires strong automation mindset, effective communication, and hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cyber security, or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience as a site reliability engineer or similar role.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., SRE Foundation).
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Azure Monitoring, Splunk, ELK).
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
