Job summary

Navstar Inc. is seeking a senior DevOps engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to support mission-focused IT programs. The role involves maintaining development, testing, and production environments, plus building automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tooling.

Strong experience with Kubernetes, Grafana, and configuration management is required. You will work on open-source stacks, implement security controls, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable operations and

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IS or related discipline with progressive software development experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with metrics monitoring and dashboards (Grafana).
• Understanding of system administration in various OS environments.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management tools.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins).
• Version control experience (Git) and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain development, testing, and production environments.
• Builds and deploys automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.
• Manages CI/CD pipeline to maximize efficiency.
• Implements best practices for system hardening and configuration management.
• Develops and maintains operations tooling and microservices.
• Tests system integrity and deployment processes; implement improvements.
• Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
• Stays current with industry trends and sources improvements.
