Job summary

Filevine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a cross-functional team. You will own and operate critical portions of our systems, starting with context-building in year one and advancing to mission-critical objectives for autonomous, scalable platforms in subsequent years.

You will help build reliable, observable, and scalable services across the Filevine stack. Ideal candidates will bring 8+ years in software/DevOps with 5+ years in SRE, strong cloud and Kubernetes experience, and

Qualifications

8+ years in software/platform engineering or DevOps with 5+ years in SRE.
Cloud platforms (AWS), Kubernetes, and full-stack observability (tracing, logging, SLI/SLOs).
Automation in Python, Go, or Bash for CI/CD and tooling.
Proven incident leadership including root cause analysis and long-term reliability.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with cross-team collaboration.
Hands-on Operational AI/ML using telemetry to predict capacity risks.

Responsibilities

Design and improve monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, and SLI/SLOs for production visibility.
Build internal tools and delivery pipelines to boost efficiency and reliability.
Drive continuous improvements in performance, scalability, and security to mitigate customer impact.
Lead production incident response from triage to resolution and create durable runbooks.
Guide major technical initiatives and align cross-team engineering efforts.
Mentor engineers through design reviews and incident post-mortems.
Join on-call rotations and lead capacity planning and disaster recovery readiness.
Leverage AI/ML tools to forecast capacity risks and optimize workflows.
