Job summary

The Ladders is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help scale and harden production systems across the platform. You will partner with engineering to improve resilience, automate recovery, and strengthen observability to ensure dependable service delivery.

This remote role requires US-based candidates; you will design reusable platform components and guide execution from design to rollout, mentoring engineers and driving high infrastructure quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Development roles.
• Hands-on experience operating production environments in AWS.
• Proficiency in Go or Python for building automation and tooling.
• Strong experience with Terraform.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like ECS or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of observability practices including system metrics and SLOs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will help shape the reliability, scalability, and operational maturity of production systems across the platform. You will work closely with engineering partners to improve infrastructure resilience, automate recovery, and strengthen observability practices that support dependable service delivery. The position also involves building reusable platform capabilities and guiding technical execution from design through rollout.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $158,900 – $234,125 annually
