Our client, a technology and cloud operations organization is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the Hosted Operations Team supporting Azure-focused cloud systems and production reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong Azure subject matter expertise, a consultative mindset for communicating solutions to clients, and the drive to take ownership through production incidents and drive them to resolution.

What's the Job?
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Azure for the Hosted Operations Team, guiding reliable operations across Azure environments.
- Apply CI/CD concepts and tools such as Harness and Octopus Deploy to support build pipeline feedback and continuous improvement of internal tooling.
- Manage the lifecycle of IaaS VMs, including troubleshooting VM boot issues, performing Backup/Restore (Snapshot and Recovery Vault), imaging, and resizing/scaling.
- Own and optimize Azure Monitor capabilities, including diagnostic settings, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and writing Log Analytics queries using Kusto Query Language (KQL).
- Build and run applications in AKS, serve as an escalation point for complex Azure cases, and lead production incident coordination to resolution.
What's Needed?
- 4+ years of experience with the Azure platform.
- 4+ years of practical experience utilizing Azure data migration tools.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (Harness and Octopus Deploy preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills to coordinate with the right parties and clearly explain recommended solutions in a consultative role.
