Job summary

Karsun Solutions, LLC is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Manager to lead an 8-20 person team and ensure reliable, scalable services across AWS cloud. You will drive observability, incident management, and platform lifecycle improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires on-site work in DMV area, strong leadership, and 3+ years in a similar capacity, with a track record in building fault-tolerant cloud-native systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing a team of site reliability engineers and delivering in AWS cloud.
• 5+ years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for cloud-native applications in production.
• Deep understanding of AWS and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Datadog as the primary logging/monitoring platform.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead an 8-20 person service delivery team including SREs and DevSecOps engineers.
• Own production reliability, observability standards, SLOs and KPIs; drive post-mortems and root-cause analyses.
• Define infrastructure as code and deployment automation; manage vulnerability processes.
• Oversee end-to-end platform lifecycle and design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures.
