About the role:
AutoRABIT is seeking a Senior Site Reliability/DevSecOps Engineer to develop, scale, and operate our cloud services. You will implement best practices across teams, providing visibility and recommendations to improve reliability and automation. Responsibilities include security, availability, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, capacity planning, backup, and disaster recovery. The role emphasizes automation and building a robust DevSecOps framework. Key qualities include accountability, agility, analytical skills, and a passion for learning and data-driven execution.

Responsibilities:

• Support automation, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and capacity planning for various software and systems.
• Develop and maintain frameworks for monitoring, automation, and code to enhance scalability and reliability.
• Assist teams with deployment, security infrastructure, and issue resolution.
• Participate in incident response and postmortems.
• Automate manual tasks, such as user provisioning.
• Share knowledge and mentor peers.
• Support the team in a small, agile environment, including on-call duties.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience designing and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
• Collaboration with development teams for reliability and performance.
• Shell scripting (Bash), Python, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Go, Java.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
• Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Adherence to security best practices and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills in US English.

Education and Background:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• AWS, GCP, or Azure certifications preferred.
• 3+ years Kubernetes experience.
• 3+ years managing Linux systems in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of networking protocols like DNS, load balancers, HTTP.

Must be a US citizen or permanent resident capable of obtaining security clearance, residing in the US. Green card holders qualify; H1B or other visas do not.

Salary range: $175,000 – $200,000 depending on experience.

This is a 100% remote position.
