Job summary

Synopsys is seeking a capacity planning and reliability leader to own the enterprise capacity strategy across compute, storage, network, and cloud. You will translate business direction into investment recommendations, build executive dashboards, and drive automation to improve forecasting and reliability.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, architecture, and business partners to align priorities, reduce toil, and minimize incidents while enabling scalable, cost-efficient growth

• Strong quantitative mindset with forecasting and structured analysis

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise capacity strategy and roadmap across compute, storage, network, and cloud.
• Lead long-range demand forecasting and scenario planning with clear investment recommendations.
• Build executive-ready dashboards and narratives connecting utilization, performance, availability, and cost trends.
• Architect and deliver automation that improves capacity planning accuracy and reduces toil.
• Establish governance mechanisms—standards, cadences, and prioritization workflows across teams.
• Drive reliability improvements by defining and operationalizing SLOs and improving observability.
• Lead response and follow-up for major infra events to ensure rapid stabilization and durable root-cause elimination.
