Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Site QA Inspector to join the Owner’s Advisor team supporting the METC Recapitalization Program at Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston. You will provide owner-side quality assurance for dormitory facilities, utilities, and civil infrastructure, guided by approved drawings and inspection plans.

This role requires strong document reading, field observation, and collaboration across disciplines, with the ability to obtain unescorted access and record findings in approved

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction inspection or QA/QC experience.
• Ability to read construction documents and produce digital inspection records.
• Must obtain unescorted access to JBSA Fort Sam Houston.
• Strong collaboration across disciplines and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent owner-side quality assurance for buildings, module installation, utilities, and civil infrastructure.
• Observe work against approved drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Witness tests and inspections; verify readiness before concealment or dependent work.
• Inspect module receipt, damage, alignment, connections, and field interfaces.
• Record daily quantities, activities, photographs, test results, constraints, and quality observations in approved systems.
• Identify nonconforming work, document locations, and verify corrective actions and reinspection.
• Observe safety and environmental conditions, report concerns, and support punch lists and turnover verification.
