Liberty Mutual Insurance Plano, TX is seeking a senior Manager within NAS Environmental’s Management team to grow and protect Environmental Casualty products. You will engage with underwriters, underwriting managers, and other stakeholders to apply advanced underwriting concepts and drive profitability.

You will mentor teams, develop guidelines, strengthen broker relationships, and support renewal and new business across regions, with occasional travel to client and broker visits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training plus at least 7 years of relevant environmental casualty production underwriting experience.
• Requires at least 3 years of previous people management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of environmental casualty underwriting concepts, practices and techniques, including coverage issues and product development.
• Knowledge/underwriting experience for workers' compensation for environmental contractors.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage complex referrals and support timely, consistent underwriting decisions.
• Monitor premium, rate, retention, profitability, loss trends, capacity, and aggregation exposure.
• Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines, forms, and product enhancements.
• Support EPIC, excess casualty, auto, and environmental contractors’ workers’ compensation strategy.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to underwriters.
• Occasional travel and marketing responsibilities, including client and broker visits to support your assigned production teams and regions.
• Strengthen broker and distribution relationships and support renewal and new-business execution.
