Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, SC Site Operations - Day Shift to lead warehouse activities including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving and inventory control. You will supervise associates, manage schedules, and ensure safety and efficiency at the Ellenwood site in Georgia.

Qualifications

• 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience in a supply chain warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision of warehouse associates to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operation.
• Maintain work schedules and work assignments.
• Ensure time and attendance is properly maintained, monitored and approved timely.
• Handle all equipment for efficient utilization and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff; take corrective action as necessary.
• Provide direction and leadership for managers and supervisors.
• Establish and meet site objectives in financial performance, safety, quality and customer service.
• Train and model the 7S Workplace Organization standard.
• Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed.
• Partner with staff to manage and maintain appropriate stock.
