Job summary

The Associate Director of Engineering at Waters is the senior site engineering leader responsible for engineering execution, governance, and performance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10–12+ years progressive engineering experience in manufacturing.
• 4+ years of people management leading engineering teams.
• Experience with electro‑mechanical instrumentation or complex manufacturing systems.
• Successful cross‑functional work with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site engineering organization, including manufacturing and sustaining engineering.
• Provide technical leadership for manufacturing processes supporting Waters Biosciences instruments.
• Drive cost reduction, root cause analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Support NPI and technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.
