Job summary

XYZ Reality is seeking a Lead Site Engineer to act as the senior field representative on complex construction projects in the US. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, ensure workflows and QA standards are followed, and serve as the primary liaison between the site team and the client.

You will also perform core Site Engineer tasks including progress capture, quality inspections, and coaching of junior engineers, while driving adoption of XYZ's AR platform, The Atom, across project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience working on large scale construction projects.
• Experience supervising or coordinating small teams.
• Understanding of construction drawings, BIM models, and site workflows.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
• Comfortable using digital construction tools and new technologies.
• Basic IT Skills (Microsoft Suite).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of Site Engineers and Graduate Site Engineers on the project.
• Ensure all team members follow company workflows, QA procedures, and data capture standards.
• Drive adoption of the XYZ platform among client teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct progress tracking against BIM models using XYZ’s Augmented Reality Device – The Atom.
• Perform on-site QA inspections and record findings within the XYZ platform.
• Attend and contribute to weekly coordination meetings with the client to review quality issues and progress.
• Monitor quality issues raised by the engineering team and ensure they are reviewed and closed out by the client.
• Provide coaching and support to Site Engineers to maintain high delivery standards.
• Escalate risks, blockers, or performance issues to project management when necessary.
