Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Senior Engineer for a major main contractor to lead site engineering, setting out, and temporary works across large civil packages. You will supervise engineers, drive QA processes, and ensure SHEQ compliance on site in the UK.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and active SMSTS with a full UK driving licence. Competitive salary and structured progression await.

Qualifications

• Hold a Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent professional qualification).
• 5+ years of essential experience in a Senior Engineer role on large-scale builds or civils contracts.
• Active SMSTS certificate and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of site engineering, dimensional control, and setting out on major packages.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Site Engineers and manage PDRs and training plans.
• Manage temporary works schemes, ITPs, and enforce QA.
• Chair subcontractor progress meetings and monitor project programs.
• Maintain daily site records and ensure SHEQ compliance.
