Job summary

NV5 (NYSE:TIC) seeks a Site Civil Engineer (PE) in Duluth, GA to lead commercial site development projects.

The role requires design excellence, project leadership, and client coordination, with responsibilities including documents, design oversight, and staff mentoring. A BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years site design, 2+ years PM, and GA PE or progress toward licensure within 6 months are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years civil site design experience.
• 2+ years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong knowledge of site design for parks, subdivisions, industrial and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee construction documents, reports, and design calculations for site development.
• Design site plans, grading, drainage, utilities, erosion control, and stormwater systems.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent.
• Provide construction-phase support and QA/QC on designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and CAD staff; coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
• Lead permitting efforts and secure approvals from regulatory authorities.
• Manage schedules, budgets, billing, and client communications.
• Oversee proposals, bidding, and construction administration activities.
