AKRF, Inc. in New York City seeks a Senior Site Civil Engineer to design and manage land development projects for municipal and private clients. You will lead site/civil drawings and reports, manage tasks and budgets, and oversee construction administration with site visits.

The role requires a BS/BE in Civil Engineering, 5–10 years' experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D. NYS PE is preferred; LICENSURE in NYS within 6–12 months may be required.

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience.
• NYS PE recommended; if licensed elsewhere, NYS licensure within 6–12 months.
• Day-to-day project communication and coordination with clients and other design consultants.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines.

The Engineering Department at AKRF is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer to work in our New York City office. This individual will serve a key function in the design and management of a broad range of land development projects for both our municipal and private sector clients. Job Responsibilities

• Lead/support preparation of site/civil engineering drawings, specifications and reports for project in NYC and the NYC metropolitan area.


• Lead/support project management responsibilities including managing discrete tasks, project schedule and budget.


• Lead/support construction administration responsibilities including periodic site visits to active construction sites.


• Provide direction, delegation and training to junior staff.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering.


• 5-10 years of experience.


• NYS PE recommended; however, applicants with PE Licensure in other states will be required to obtain NYS Licensure within 6-12 months of hire.

Compensation

Compensation will range from $95k to $135k, and commensurate with experience.
