Job summary

Amazon's Worldwide Design Engineering (WWDE) seeks a Sr. Simulation Scientist to design and optimize fulfillment network concepts using discrete event simulations. You will lead complex modelling projects, analyze data, and mentor others, partnering with robotics, fulfillment tech, and design teams.

The role requires deep expertise in DES, optimization, and simulation coding (Python or similar). This on-site position is based in Bellevue, WA, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree with 5+ years of quantitative field research experience.
• Experience translating research into business impact.
• Strong communication of methods to diverse teams.
