Job summary

Spectral Labs is building foundation models for engineering physical systems and seeks a simulation physicist to integrate physics into model learning and evaluation. You will design scalable simulation pipelines (FEA, CFD, multiphysics) and automate them in Python or C++, contributing to training data, rewards, and model assessments.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in computational physics or engineering simulation.
• Deep knowledge of numerical methods and at least one major solver.
• Programming skills to automate simulations in Python or C++.

Responsibilities

• Build simulation pipelines (FEA/CFD/multiphysics) that scale on generated geometry.
• Turn simulation results into training data, rewards and evaluations for models.
• Collaborate with research to identify model needs for accurate physics.
• Automate workflows to integrate physics with machine learning.
