Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks an Instructor, Operator, Maintainer II at Fort Bliss, Texas to lead maintenance on TADSS simulation equipment and to design training materials for operation, maintenance, and repair.

You will coordinate maintenance activities, document progress in MIS, and develop training resources, ensuring readiness and reliability of systems used across exercises and base operations.

Qualifications

• Led simulation maintenance activities including resourcing and training other simulator technicians.
• Maintained Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Systems (TADSS) equipment following manuals or best practices.
• Informed the site lead of maintenance timelines for staffed and unstaffed sites.
• Ensured maintenance tasks do not conflict with training, exercises, and testing.
• Recorded maintenance activities in MIS in real-time.
• Adhered to warranty terms for maintained items, tracking by part/serial/location.
• Set up and tested simulation equipment to confirm proper operation and interoperability.
• Managed configuration and updates for maintenance on simulation devices.

Responsibilities

• Leads simulation maintenance activities including resourcing and training other simulator technicians.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on TADSS equipment per manuals or industry best practices when no checklist is available.
• Designs and delivers courses on operation, maintenance, and repair of all TADSS devices.
• Develops training materials, including manuals, slides, and online resources for training programs.
• Documents system status and maintenance outcomes for stakeholders and reports.
• Supports inventory, packing, shipping, and receiving maintenance parts at sites with limited staff.
