Job summary

The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO, is seeking an Experienced Simulation Software Engineer for Training Systems to design, implement, and validate simulation models and environments for pilot readiness and mission success. The role requires strong C++ skills and experience with Python and cloud technologies.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, validate simulations, and modernize legacy software in a secure agile setting while supporting 100% onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• 5+ years of experience developing and debugging software using C/C++.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Designs, architects, and develops simulation models, visualizations, and frameworks for test performance and durability.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements and system dynamics.
• Performs design, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to optimize system performance.
• Collects and processes data for simulation use.
• Validates, verifies, and refines simulation code and procedures; documents results.
• Documents and maintains technical code and descriptions of models.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to enable integration with devices and systems.
• Implements current/emerging technologies in the software simulation environment.
• Modernizes and migrates legacy simulation software to new platforms.
• Performs simulation software project management functions.
