Job summary

Eurofins EAG Laboratories in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Scientist to join the SIMS group. You will perform thin-film analyses using SIMS, test new and existing materials, and contribute to product development and improvement.

The role requires a PhD in physics, chemistry, materials science, or engineering, with hands-on experience in materials characterization and ITAR compliance. Responsibilities include generating detailed analytical reports, providing technical reviews, and ensuring schedules,

Qualifications

PhD required in physics, chemistry, materials science, or engineering.
Experience with materials characterization tools is essential.
Strong analytical and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Perform analysis of thin films using the SIMS tool.
Analyze and test new and existing materials to identify properties.
Prepare detailed analytical reports for customers with interpretation of findings.
Provide technical reviews for reports prepared by others.
Evaluate customer requests, determine testing requirements, and prepare quotations.
Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and performance requirements.
Potentially direct phases of revenue-producing projects.
