Molex seeks a Senior Si Photonics Design Engineer to advance the development of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) within the Optical Solutions Business Unit. You will design, implement, and validate photonic components and circuits and collaborate with global teams and suppliers to push next‑generation photonic solutions.

The role emphasizes hands‑on design using industry tools, EVT/DVT work, and close collaboration with layout and packaging teams to enable reliable PIC integration into final

Qualifikationen

• : Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related technical fields.
• : At least 2 years of relevant industrial or academic experience in designing silicon photonics /electrical devices and components.
• Experience with photonic and optoelectronic devices.
• Experience with CMOS semiconductor and backend processes.
• Experience with design tools such as Lumerical, COMSOL, FIMMPROP, etc.

Aufgaben

• Design SiPho components and devices using tools for advanced applications such as PAM4 and coherent pluggables and co packaged optics.
• Design experiments and analyze test data for EVT/DVT.
• Collaborate with teams and external foundries to develop photonic platforms.
• Coordinate with the layout team to assist with GDS layouts.
• Work with SI/PI and packaging teams for reliable integration of PICs into final products.
