Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (via Xilinx, Inc.) seeks a Sr. Silicon Design Engineer to research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.

You will oversee ASIC development, define interfaces for simulation, and work on timing, power, and layout considerations. The role requires a Master's degree in engineering and at least one year of related experience, with hands-on use of EDA tools (Synopsys Design Compiler, PrimeTime, SpyGlass, FishTail)

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• One year of experience in a related engineering role.
• Experience with RTL design, EDA tools, and ASIC development.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Oversee ASIC development: architecture, timing, power, and verification.
• Define module interfaces and simulation formats for RS/RTL blocks.
• Evaluate design flows from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis.
