Job summary

Leidos seeks a signatures modeling engineer in the Beavercreek, OH area to model EM phenomenology, assess RCS, and validate predictions using leading CEM tools. You will contribute to technical work and communicate results to customers and internal teams.

You will lead or join interdisciplinary teams, support proposal development, and collaborate with customers while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness. Some duties may be remote with preferred onsite presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years’ experience or a master’s degree or higher.
• US citizen and active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Strong understanding of applied electromagnetics with EM modeling skills.
• Adept in CEM prediction software and simulation tools.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, technical writing and organization.

Responsibilities

• Model and characterize EM phenomenology in RF bands.
• Characterize and evaluate radar cross sections (RCS).
• Verify and validate measured data and predictions.
• Create signature predictions using SENTRi, Xpatch and other tools.
• Write and present technical information on development activities.
• Lead or support business development and proposals.
