Senior Signal Processing Systems Engineer

Pareto Frontier is seeking a passionate individual to turn innovative ideas into reality. The Senior Signal Processing Systems Engineer will be involved in the conception, development, implementation, and verification of advanced, real-time signal processing solutions across multiple technology areas, with applications in tactical wireless communications systems. Proficiency in embedded software development, high-speed FPGA design and implementation, signal processing, and MATLAB-based modeling and simulation are highly desired. The candidate should have experience with RF signal processing systems and lab equipment for design verification and performance characterization. The ideal candidate will be motivated to solve complex technical problems, self-driven, ambitious, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Required Skills:

• RF/Wireless Communications background (Tactical waveforms preferred)
• Experience with RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers)
• MS/PhD preferred; Bachelor's with 3-5 years RF systems engineering and testing experience considered

Additional Desired Skills:

• High-speed FPGA design (3-5+ years)
• Deep understanding of DSP fundamentals: time/frequency domain analysis, digital filtering, resampling, fixed-point processing, computational complexity
• Experience with algorithm development, modeling, and simulation in MATLAB

Export Control Requirement:

This position requires compliance with export control regulations, specifically a "US Person" status as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15, including US citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees. Candidates must be eligible for a Secret-level clearance and pass a Commercial Background Investigation (CBI).
