Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field with 8 years experience; or advanced degree with 5 years; PhD with 3 years.
• Knowledge in physics, physical systems, dynamics, control theory, and signal processing.
• Experience developing signal processing algorithms and implementing physics-based models in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Hands-on experience with experimental equipment to collect and analyze data.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural dynamic and acoustic models and related signal processing schemes.
• Perform data analysis including spectral processing and transfer function analysis.
• Develop control systems and architectures to improve physical system performance.
• Support real-time implementation and evaluation of designs in mission scenarios.
• Create sophisticated detection and classification algorithms against threats.
• Build prototype proof-of-concept systems for client challenges.
• Lead small projects, contribute to proposals, and present to customers; travel as needed.
