Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent
• 5+ years of industry experience with electromagnetic principles for digital SI
• Experience with high-speed connectors in communications equipment is a plus
• Experience with SI measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators and error detectors
• Experience with SI tools (HFSS, Designer, CST, HSPICE, MatLab, ADS) and circuit characterization methods

Responsibilities

• Design, simulation, characterization and application of high-speed connectors and interconnects
• Component development and customer support on new product introductions
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve signal integrity
• Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows
• Assist Sales Engineers with product break-in strategies based on SI expertise
• Identify and resolve signal integrity issues in PCB layouts
• Design and measure boards for verification of products
• Apply circuit theory and high-speed transmission principles to design
