The role blends hands-on measurements (VNA, TDR, BERT) with 3D EM simulation (HFSS/CST), analysis in Python/MATLAB, and cross-functional collaboration to meet 224G/448G PAM4 targets.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years in signal integrity or high-speed interconnect design
• Hands-on with VNA, TDR, and BERT test equipment
• Strong transmission line theory and high-speed channel skills
• Proficiency with EM simulation tools and data analysis via Python/MATLAB

Responsibilities

• Perform S-parameter measurements (VNA) and TDR on coax/twinax assemblies
• Conduct BERT-based BER testing and eye-diagram analysis
• Support 3D EM simulations (HFSS/CST/ADS) and correlate with measurements
• Drive root-cause analysis of SI issues and propose design fixes
• Collaborate with mechanical/manufacturing on materials, geometry, and mating interfaces
• Develop test fixtures, automation scripts, and data analysis pipelines
• Present findings to stakeholders and customers with concise qualifications
