Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Signal Integrity Director to lead a 20+ engineer team in Raleigh, NC. You will design copper-based I/O cable assemblies for very high bandwidth data rates, engaging with customers and product managers to translate requirements into new designs and production plans.

The role blends technical depth with leadership, guiding development, qualification, and transition to production while driving roadmaps and mentoring

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering management experience.
• Experience with high-speed signal integrity engineering teams.
• Proficiency with HFSS/Designer, CST Microwave for simulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 20+ engineers team designing copper-based I/O cable assemblies for high-bandwidth applications up to 448 Gbps per lane.
• Translate customer requirements into product designs, production tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define performance and ensure engineering excellence.
• Drive technology roadmaps and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement in design workflow.
