Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks a senior automation engineer with a BS in Mechatronics or related field and 7 years of Siemens PLC experience (STEP7, S7-1500, WinCC, TIA Portal 17). You will contribute to automation projects, write ladder logic, SCL, and FBD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to document PLC/HMI processes.

Strong manufacturing domain experience required. Experience with Rockwell PLC is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronics / OTHER with 7 years experience in Siemens PLC using Siemens STEP7 / S7-1500 / WinCC 7 / TIA Portal 17
• Hands on experience in Automation projects and experience writing code in Ladder, SCL, FBD
• PLC, SCADA, ST, Ladder Logic, Siemens is must
• Manufacturing domain experience
• experience in Rockwell / other PLC experience PREFERED
• Experience with sizing cables, circuit breakers
• Experience working with engineers from other teams to document processes for PLC / HMI
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting electrical panels
• Experience contributing and/or leading Failure Mode & Effects Analysis
