Job summary

EmployBridge is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to own and enhance the SIEM platform, driving critical security initiatives across cloud, data protection, and threat detection.

You will work hands-on to build detection rules, dashboards, and queries, while collaborating with the SOC and IT teams to strengthen overall security posture. This remote role supports US operations and emphasizes proactive security improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity or IT security experience.
• Hands-on SIEM experience with building queries, alerts, dashboards.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting incident response teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the SIEM platform (Sumo Logic) with detection rules and dashboards.
• Tune alerts to reduce false positives and improve accuracy.
• Support investigations and incident response with logs and data analysis.
• Collaborate across security, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Advance data protection and cloud security initiatives.
